at the point where I need to make a decision, should I go cont here, a65 or 75, I already have enough parts to build 2 lic 0145 (but only 1 good log book) and have a oldfire wall foward (eng and eng mount and baffles) a65 (condition unknown last run in 50's( no log book) but willing to buy a cont, but what is a good price for a 65 or should I get a 75?

I'd step up to the plate and run an 85 on a short mount. That's what I have and it's awesome!

The difference between a A65 and a C85 is like nite and day and with a -12 engine you can have electric on a short mount a starter is so nice and luscombe exhaust is grate and the nice thing Terry Bowden has the paperwork to make it legal

I flew an 85hp BC12D last week. What these gentlemen say is right on! Go for an 85 and if you CAN, the Don Swords conversion. The lucsombe exhaust is also a BIG plus! Good luck! JC
