  • EDO 1320 Flying wires

Can somebody with EDO 1320's measure the diameter of the flying wires that attach to the aircraft and also give me the length and possibly a picture of the rear attach fitting. I recently purchased a set of floats that need a new set of flying wires. I have an old set, but according to the mechanic they are the smaller diameter used back in the 1940's

    Thanks

    Joe

Why aren't the ones you have adequate? I don't think I am following. What vintage are the floats and what year is the plane they are going on?

I should have mentioned they are going on a 1946 BC-12, When one buys a set of floats that the previous owner says they fit on a T-craft you have to be careful. I have four flying wires all they same length, which the mechanic has now determined that EDO has an alternate installation drawing showing wires of the same length. For those who do not fly floats you would be shocked at the price of these new wires.
