Very nice! Question.......why do you have blisters on the bottom of your cowl, bigger engine or what?

Sigh...just pulled my plane off the ice friday.
I have never seen the ice & snow go so fast here.
Absolutely best time of the year for flying.

Jim, great video! I need to get me one of those little video cameras! You are right about Sunday being exceptional. Several friends and I took our planes up and played around in the Knik River drainage and back around Lake George on Sunday. It was fantastic. Here are some snapshots I took with my iphone.

I have a very serious case of spring fever today and not sure if I'll make it through the day here at work. Gotta love this time of year.

The "coffee cans" on the bottom of the cowl are necessary to make room for the Cessna 150 exhaust converstion. Thanks for the note!

Nice pictures Rod. Lake George is one of my favorite winter destinations as long as the ice is "landable". Thanks for sharing the photos!

I have been using the Drift HD 170. Great camera and it has a remote to stop and start recording from inside the airplane. I started getting nervous climbing out on the strut to push the 'record' button and I almost fell off once while crawling along the top of the empennage to start the camera on the tail!

Hi Ward...the camera is mounted using a Pedco Ultra-Clamp. It's an awesome, versatile mount that you can put almost anywhere. I'm really happy with it.
