  • What is this tool?

Not sure this has anything to do with aircraft. I found this tool in a box that was with some small aeronca parts. It looks to be some kind of puller? There is a name on it nothing else is legible. The name is

Patrick- Mcdermott Co. Los angleles California. I did a google search on the co. and all I came up with is a link to a 1946 Popular Mechanics Magazine that mentions the co name. Does anyone have an idea what it is? Thanks!

This is a tool for making control cable ends. The tool holds the cable in position with a thimble so you can do a AN five tuck terminal or a wrap and solder terminal or just a nicopress terminal. This is a very hard to find and desirable tool.
