  • 48 months happens too fast!

We are due for our strut X rays. It seems like a short while ago we were having them done. It's so damned ridiculous. Especially here in Arizona where the word corrosion may as well be Greek. Oh well... took them off the plane yesterday and am headed to the NDT facility this morning. Hope to have them back in a couple days and back on the plane good for another 4 years.

I considered sealed struts but the testing is only about $150 and takes about 2 hours of our time to remove and replace them. Cheaper to keep inspecting them for a couple decades.

On a related note, anyone know of (or recommends) a facility that X-rays struts in California? Preferably near San Joaquin Valley.

Yes, and yet government seems to always think that they know best how to run our lives and from what I see on the news they plan to do even more of it!

Why do we permit that ?
