    Forrest, it's on the hinge, and I would't know where to look anywhere else and there is no mention of anything in the logs forchanging the fuselage

      Mine is also off by one or two numbers on the door hinge. It doesn't seem to be that uncommon.

        My number is off by about 1600 and that is what is bothering me, I mean I am sure that the number on the hinge could be corrected if you follow me but I can't find the number that is on the hinge now anywhere or that it was even ever manufactured.

          Michael,

          I've seen many small discrepancies in SN between the data plate/paperwork and the number stamped on the fuselage, and a few very large discrepancies that are unexplained. As long as your data plate matches your paperwork, that's really all that matters. The data plate IS the SN, forget the # on the door hinge, its a mystery you probably won't find an answer for.
