    flight

    Hi Jason and Mark,

I haven't heard from you in a while Jason; I hope you got your engine baffles all finished.

If Jason is joining us for a flight on Sunday, maybe we could find a destination closer to his location. I don't know of any good places in Washington (other than Jason's great location!). Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I will be limited to a destination that is within an hour or so of Portland. I have an unbelievable amount of packing to do before our move on the 18th. The wife won't take kindly to her packing alone for an extended period of time while I am out having fun.

Pacific City is always a good place to go if everyone is game for the flight. Great mexican resturant just walking distance from the field.

How about Packwood, WA. It's a bit closer for me and we can walk in to town for a bite to eat.

          Jason -

Mark, Allen, and I are a bit pressed for time tomorrow. Packwood is an all day trip once you count in travel time to and from the airport. We are all going to meet at the Fly-M for brunch. Rendezvous will be at Twin-Oaks at 10:30, then Fly-M around 11:00. Besides, Packwood is up there around that rumbling volcano.

I know it's a long way for you but hope you can make it.

Hey David Price, can you make it? It would be great to see you and have another Taylorcraft along.

                Hey David -

It was great meeting up with you. It's just as well that you didn't stop at Twin-Oaks on the way back, Mark wasn't there when I landed. Called him and he said that he and Sandy had something else they had to take care of.

                      My condolances

                      David,
My heart goes out to you. I know how you feel, and there are those that may say that this is not the forum for what I am about to say, but my two friends and I will hold you up in our prayers each and every day for quite a while. Just remember this, we are bound for a place "where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal". Matt. 6:20 NKJV.
If I have offended anyone for saying what I have said, I am who I am, and this is what I believe. Sabrina

Where in the world is Jason???

                              Jason

We missed you Sunday at Flying M Ranch! Lets try to get together again soon. Maybe if St. Helens will hurry up and do her thing, we can go to Packwood. I have never been there. The Northwest Antique Airplane Club, of which I am a member, goes there often. But I have never joined them. I am eager to explore it. Also there is Copalis State where you land on the beach. That would be fun. How about email me your phone number! We wanted to call you Saturday, but none of us had a number on you so we tried emailing you in time.

Another thought is maybe we could meet up with Jim Liebenow at his home airport. He is without wings right now.

                              Cheers,
