  • Tree Top Flier Fly-in

    I hope it is alright to post this here......if not, please let me know and or delete it as necessary. Our EAA chapter 1467 is having our annual Fly-in this coming Saturday (with a rain date of Sunday). Nov 5th / raindate Nov 6th 2011. Our field is a beautiful private 3000+ foot grass lighted strip in Gaston, SC (just south "under the outer veil" of Columbia Metro Airport" KCAE. ( stay under the outer veil "below 1,800 MSL" CLEAR OF class C airspace... and contact Gaston ground 122.9 about 5 miles out. The identifier is "2SC8" ....You can look us up on AIRNAV. We are the Tree Top Fliers. Anyone close enough to come join us on Saturday is more than welcome. We will have lots of food, and with pretty weather, we expect 30 to 50 aircraft.     Eric And ALL Come on down.The field is a beauty. It is smooth . Probably amoung the best in Grass fields one could land on. I will bring the 1 foty over there. Lots of Taildraggers.There will be a bunch of tube and fabric planes there for sure. This is becoming THE event in the south east this time of year !! Ya all come.
