    Thanks Vic

Thank you very much Vic. For the Mag Switch, and carring it up to me. 118 miles in his beautiful Pacer.

We had intentions (again) of going to Vicks, but after just a few miles (20 or so) My wife was getting sick. It was pretty windy and bumppy for the Yellow Duck, so we made a 360 and got the hell out of there/ (That's an Aggie's 180) lol; sorry aggies

Vick, I sent you an e mail. If it is not to windy today, planning on going to Marksville (Cassino) for lunch. If you and Joyce can make it, call. 337-367-0070.

Anyone else in our area, id welcome to join us.

don't know if you solved your radio issue yet...I have been using a Becker in my J-3 since 1999, never an issue, great Radio.
I was using a handheld prior to that and I don't miss it.
I set up the Becker with a sealed Lead Acid battery and it lasts months, flying once or twice a week.
Hated to spend the loot at the time but it was worth it.

A little late checking out the forum, but wasn't there actually a Service Bulletin on the A-7 mag switches everybody likes so much? For failing to ground and not being able to shut off the engine? Forrest?

This happened to me a couple of times on my BC-65, you could clean it and it would work fine for a long time, but a couple of years down the road it happened again, so I replaced it with a 2 3/4" four screw mount WW2 type.

I've seen the modern switch behind the old faceplate idea done a couple of times and think that's a good idea.
