Dot, that was going to be my question too! I've known Alan for years. He's a good'n! You should've headed a bit more West and you could've dropped in here for the "two bit tour" and carriage ride!

Excelent post, I could give a post on from Key West, Fl to Prudo, Ak by truck but it wouldn't be the same or as beautiful--Yeah I did do the whole trip--had to get permission from the oil companies in Fairbanks and I did find some gold se Coldfoot, AK but it wasn't worth enough to be able to claim and I don't ever need to meet up with another grizlie again- dropped my shovel- shot 12gauge over it's head and then did worst thing possible--- ran away from it, took me 30 minutes to get the nerve up to walk back and get that damn shovel versus 2 days walking and then driving to Fairbanks them suckers are big animals

Great trip post Dot. Next time you find yourself looking for somewhere to fly for a nice day trip cross country head on up to West Liberty,Ky(9I3). We'll throw some steaks on the BBQ,fly everything on the field with gas in it,and maybe go fishing a while if ya have time. Drop by sometime.
