I have a gluing question. When applying EkoBond to metal tubing in prep for applying fabric, is there any reason that initial coating can't be allowed to dry completely? - Mike

Re: Anyone using Stewart System EkoBond?
John - the reason for the question is that I"m always looking for places were I can stop for a week; for example, I"d like to cover the bottom of a horizontal stabilizer on one day(to include the glue applied thru the fabric) , and then the other side on the next day. Also there seems to be a conflict with the videos on YouTube, where the gentleman say "allow to dry". - MIke
PS _ what do you mean by "glued on again"? Remove the old glue and restart? - Mike

Re: Anyone using Stewart System EkoBond?
No, I meant that you'd use the glue you laid down as a "pre-glue" sort of strip. It would be best to just keep the glue lines neat and tidy and not have to apply glue on glue. As soon as it's "glued down" just take a moist towell and wipe the exess off and you'll be "good to go" when you start up again. That glue will stick to anything and has such superior strength to anything else out there, that it's amazing. It will stick very redily to itself again when you start back up. You can also take a "belt cleaner" and just knock off the glue that's dried when you go to start up, if I'm following you correctly.I'm so far behind, I think I'm ahead
