  • Covering the vertical fin

I know some folks cover the fin with an envelope and some cover it in two halves as Rob did. I'd like to use the blanket method (cover in two operations) and was wondering if anyone used something different from what Rob shows - Mike

    Re: Covering the vertical fin

I just finished covering my complete fuselage with the blanket method and I would recommend that anyone doing a fabric job do it in the envelope method.

I've used both, but way perfer the blanket. To get the envelope to look as well, is alot more work....even when we have the envelope made with no bottom. Stewart's System glue sure makes it alot easier!

I agree. I.ve done both but after two envelopes I finally went to the blanket on all the rest. Much neater results and a LOT easier. Dick
