Interesting sign of life from taylorcraft.com!

I just received an email from them. It seems that they were going through old emails. found one of mine from 2007, and wanted me to know that their website will open "very soon" and as soon as they get their PMA they will offer original Taylorcraft parts for sale. Signed, Taylorcraft Customer Service.

Nothing definite yet, but an interesting and encouraging sign of life. Anyone else hear anything?

Thanks for the heads-up, Skip. The last time I was there it was a strange website with most of the links not working.
    Cheers,

Yes I received one here in Wales UK in response to an email I sent to Antonio at the factory several years back to do with an exhaust stack for my F22A. The website shows "still under construction " but seems very promising! Has anybody actually been to the factory to see how they are getting on?

Is the factory still in Brownsville, TX? I will be at the Brownsville airport for a CAF meeting the first week of June. I can stop by and check.

Re: Signs of life from taylorcraft.com

Taylorcraft fixtures were moved into a different building and indications are that the owners are trying to ramp up to produce some parts.
That is all the intel I have, but it is from reliable sources.
I need some parts so I hope it all goes well.

I do not know the address, but the location is on the Brownsville Airport directly across Les Mauldin Rd. from the former location of the Taylorcraft factory. Antonio is still working there.

Hope this dosen't mean more AD's to support Taylorcrafts parts manufacturing.

I got a reply to an email asking if I could stop by and visit. They said come on down. I will be going to Brownsville on June 1 so I will make time to stop by and look around. Let you know how things look.

I got the same email. Hopeful, but not optimistic. In other news, I ordered a new step from Wag Aero last week! Hooray for new parts!
