Vogel Cabin this weekend

Alaska T-Craft flyers...I will be camping out with some friends at Vogel Lake this coming weekend (Sat 3/12 and Sun 3/13). Anyone is welcome to drop in and visit. We have one remaining bunk available if you want to stay the night, and there is plenty of floor space as well if you bring a cot or air matress. We'll have food, coffee, etc. so feel free to drop in. Hope to see you there.

ALaska Tribe: Wish I could be there with you at Vogel...am down in Mexico with my wife. The "snowbird thing" sort of gets in the way of ski flying...! But a promise must be kept...! The wx is certainly nice down here, but I really miss the winter flying, as the days start to lengthen. I sit here at the computer and pull up the satellite pix and webcam pix from home and think of all the possibilities...! Well, there's always float season...!
I hope a good number of the tribe are able to meet up at the Vogel cabin. That is certainly a special location...close to ANC, but having the sense of being away from town.
We will be in Apache Junction next month and then Spokane(Mead) for a while, hopefully will run across some of the Main Tribe during our travels.

Jim...I would love to be there, but I am in the same boat as Dick Smith, We are down in Florida doing the snowbird thing. Am looking forward to the Skwentna fly-in though. Let me know if/when that is in the works. Larry
