Let's get an updated collection together of Taylorcraft photo web sites.
I just stumbled across a great web site with old photographs from the Alliance factory. Over 500 photos, I believe all are pre-war timeframe. A number of photos showing various paint schemes from back then. Lots of very interesting history too.
I also found another web site that has a number of Taylorcraft photos. You need to click on the link titled "Browse All Aircraft by Manufacturers" and then select Taylorcraft. It is a database of all registered aircraft, and a number of them have photos attached.
I remember years ago that Captain Jon's web site had a large archive of photos, but the web site seems to be in need of repair. Only the first "album" is populated (CFAJH through N33931). I sent him an email hoping to get some insight on whether he plans to maintain the site. I know he had all of the albums populated at one time.
For those of us who are wanting to get ideas for paint schemes and colors, these sites are helpful. If anyone knows of other web sites with a selection of photographs, please add to this thread.
Blue skies,
Rod
