Does anyone know where to get 2 cable fairleads as aircraft spruce does not appear to have the right ones. Thanks

I think guys are having them machined out of phenolic or nylon.

I made up more then I needed. If you need 2 I'll send them to you, no charge, Merry Cheistmas. Send me your address.

Those look cool but how are you securing them without the C clip. How are you doing the ELT I seen in the picture. I have one and I'm trying to figure a way to get to it with the cargo bag in place. You have to change those batteries once a year also how are you doing the antenna. Send pics if you can. Thanks

          Re: Fairlead

There are a number of ways to secure fairleads. Grove and safety wire on both sides or epoxy them in place. My IA had a look at them yesterday and liked both methods.
I put the ELT in that location so I could get to it through headliner zipper. The zipper is cut in the shape of a (T) and shouldn't be to tough to get to the ELT to change batteries. I puzzled as to the best location for the antenna. I didn't want it hanging outside, it should be vertical and mounted to a ground plane.
I attached a few pictures, I hope it helps. If you want to talk I'll give you my phone number.
