Ercoupe 415-C

The Butterfly now has a new buddy in the next hanger. Dad just bought this nice Ercoupe. I flew it home for him last week from Bolton Field in Columbus Ohio. No rudder peddles, glad to see Dad get it.

My first airplane ride was in a 'Coupe as a little boy. The old timer that took me for a ride had a wooden leg. If you really want inspired, check out Jessica Cox at rightfooted.com. She is the gal who just recently got her sport pilots ticket in an Ercoupe. She was born with no arms. Amazing, and a real credit to her parents for providing the encouragement to push herself.

Any one else in the tribe flying an Ercoupe?

Mid morning. No we did not call first, it was an inpromtu visit. We were really looking for Frank, and it was an excuse to land. looking to BS rather than "official business" whatever that is...
