    Re: taylorcraft zephyr

Known as the "Devil's Airplane" old N6669N has a very checkered past; she was the First and Last model 20 built. I have flown in her back in the 50's with my father. She WAS the prototype and to my knowledge built without the float fittings. THEN she was re numbered by the factory at the end as ser# 20-038 . ROD ??? had her stored for a long time.
Then she showed up for$10,000 in 2006 with no engine or prop . Dana Anderson was selling her for an estate if I recall correctly. The present owner did a lot of work on her and got an engine too. It seems to be a fair price, wish I had two less projects, i would grab her. I contacted the owner and he sent me a bunch of info & photos ; contact him or e-mail me and I will forward to you or anybody in the Foundation . send to [email protected] thanks..
    I still have some parts for the TC 3A3 Models 15A & 20 .

      I purchased N6669M... a stinson 108-3... Registered her here in canada C-GGYO..

We were going to re-use my dads old registration for his 180 C-GSES That way we could go from 666 to Jesus... thought it would be appropriate, but decided to save that registration for our other 'project' airplane that is a few years away.
