  • Removing old radio

I've been lugging around a old Genave 200 radio and a Narco v-dipole since I got the plane 6 years ago and I would like to get rid of it. I went through the history CD and found the paper work when they were installed. My question is do I need a 337 to remove them? The IA that does my annuals said he was talking to the FSDO about a similar situation and he implied a log book entry for the removal would be adequate. Any opinions?

May I speak for the old one? If, you have no use for it, would you consider parting with it?
