I just purchased a 1940 BLT-55 and a 1946 BC-12D < estate sale package>. The 1940 is 2/3 done. The 1946 has the fusilage done. There's boxes of parts. The issue is I need a carb for the BL with the 0-145 Lycoming. They have a MA-3A , MA3PA , MA-3SPA & NAS3A1 to choose from. My research says none of the above. Will any of these be appropriate. I checked the tag it reads venturi size 1.187. Thanks for your input.

Re: Lucky Me
And if your Lycoming comes under TC 210:
Stromberg NA-S2A
or Marvel MA-2, or MA-2A
with 1 3/16 in. venturi
It sounds like you already know this and I am probably giving you a blinding glimpse of the obvious...
You need to ask around in old accessory shops that have a lot of dusty stuff sitting around. I picked up a good Stromburg core from Navajo Accessories in San Antonio, Texas. Lots of people in the tribe have favorite dusty old accessory shops and if we all beat the bushes I bet we can find what you need.Best Regards,
Mark Julicher

Re: Lucky Me
I just got my latest issue of Kitplanes and there was a article about Rotec's new throttle body injector as a replacement for carb's.
It can only be used in the experimentals and can be used in gravity fed systems this might be something to watch.
