  • Looking for N95968

Anybody know where N95968 might be? SN 8268.

Did a internet search of the N number but nothing helpful there.

It was the first airplane a friend of mine soloed 40 years ago and he would like to find it.

    Thanks.

1 check in the back of all local hangars, if aeroplane was not flyable it dint go to far.
2 find the last owner or relativs, they may even have it a barn or it is hanging in the sons or other relatives garage.
3 widen the search to 50 mile radius, talk to pilots of other taildraggers, older mechnics. check old allmost abonden barns and hangars, local EAA chapters or other clubs.
Good Luck , in finding her.

I hope you find it! I have SN 8269, NC95969 and it would be cool to see the an adjacent serial number ship restored and flying.
