Frankenmuth, MI grassroots fly-in August 14th

Hello all!

I would like to personally invite all of you to the second annual Frankenmuth (66G) grassroots fly-in/camp-in Saturday August 14th!

We will be having a flour bomb drop at 2pm, dinner at 5 and awards immediatly following! Bonfire and stories in the evening. Everyone that shows up receives a free gift. No charge for the fly-in and if you have a significant other that would rather go into town (Frankenmuth is a great tourist town) there is a free shuttle to and from town! Shower and lav facilities are on site so if you choose to camp, you have all the ammenities of home!

The Frankenmuth fly-in was a huge success! Suzy worked hard all weekend and it showed in every way. We are estimating about 200 people showed up over the weekend and about 40 airplanes. One Taylorcraft, Larry Boggs from northern MI, arrived Saturday afternoon with his 1940 BC-65 and camped out with us and about another 50 people. Suzy is working through hundreds of photos and videos and will share them sometime in the next few days.

We are already looking forward to next year!

Hey...I just noticed...we had about the same amount of Tcraft at Frankenmuth as Oshkosh did this year! ...almost....

Thanks for the photos Suzy. I see you have the same problem with your doors flying off in hot weather.
