  • broken tail wheel leaf spring

I have a broken lower leaf spring on my tailwheel. All of the springs look ancient. I should probably replace all. Maybe not as I just need the lower one. Who should I contact?

    Thanks,

Aircraft Spruce sells tailwheel springs. Make sure you get the correct width.

I just purchased one from wag aero. Fit right on, and I noticed it was on sale in the latest flyer that came. Stamped with a Univair sticker so they are also an option as well.

        Ryan,
Do you have the Wag part number? I need a new spring but I have a Maule tailwheel. I need to research if this will fit.
        Thanks,
        Hal

Wag number is d-207-000. Width is 1-1/2 inch. Looks the maules brackets are purchased in the size that you need Maybe you are already set? Good luck
