  • Float Question...?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but...any chance any Model T-Craft with floats would qualify for LSA?

    Many thanks,

    Re: Float Question...?

Mine does... 1946 BC-12D-85...1351 pounds gross weight. 885 pounds empty for my airplane on floats with a useful load of 466 pounds.

1430 pounds is maximum gross weight for LSA on floats.

Thanks Jim! Things are looking up. Looking for something certfied I can fly on floats. Had a Luscombe 8A, then a Champ. Looks like maybe a T-craft this time around.

Mine too....all T-Crafts except Model 19, F-19, F-21, F21B, F22 are LSA qualified. Oh ....some of the L-2 are not LSA
