  • Elevator Trim

I'm restoring a 1946 BC12D. Almost finished recovering the wings. Getting close to completing it. Re doing the elevator trim. I can;t find the arm that goes from the horizontal to the trim. If someone has a drawing, I would appreciate it. Can fabricate or buy it. The pulley that goes to the elevator quadrant in the aft tail is worn, I would like ti find one, if not, I'll just have to use the old one. Any assistance will be appreciated.

    Sincerely
    TonyL

      Re: Elevator Trim

      Hi Forrest
E mail has been sent. Thanks for the quick response. Anything please post or contact me at 661 609 6737 or e mail [email protected]. The bird is at Corona Airport Hangar 1939. I'm there every day after 930 am to approx 4pm. Trying to complete it fast. Incidentally, bought a carburetor from an internet add near compton airport. It was gutted inside. Got so upset, went on barnstormers and found a pick up load of A65 parts for sale, looked at the pictures, saw a carburetor in a box, bought the load, went to pick it up, to Lake Havasu AZ. Struck gold. There were 4 carburetors in the boxes one almost 2 complete set of engine parts one did not have the cylinders. Even got a pair of case magnetos. All thanks, to the Lake Havasu EAA chapter member. Presently assembling an A65 as a spare. One crankcase had an unreadable dataplate. I have an A75 on my Tcraft. Thanks again Forrest.
