This occured on the way to our fly in At beach city airport and a mile from my house. Tried to fly over and locate the plane but it was in deep brush. Seems like he did a nice job bringing it down. He walked away and the plane is in remRkably good shape for going in the trees. The museum states they plan to bebuild it. Glad he was ok.

Many tales about this aircraft, my Father , Al Barber test flew it in 1943-44 I have all records here somewhere. Two fellows from here will use out rib jigs and rebuild her!
