had a bit of fun flying around the field with a small HD camcorder mounted to the tail.

It's amazing how much the vertical fin buffets when the aircraft is in a slip. It's not something you'd ever know unless you had a camera mounted to the tail.

    Here's the video

Great video! The slip to landing was great.
How did you attach the camera to the tail?

    Thanks for sharing!

          I believe it was.

how did yo mount the camera?
Our Tcraft does not have the tail beacon but does have the bracket for it, so I made an adapter that mounts to the tail beacon bracket and has a 1/4-20 bolt for the camera.

This fall I will be installing our 3 axis camera mount on the wing strut. It has electronic gyro stabilization. Should be able to capture some really stable footage!

Sit backwards in an L2M sometimes and have the pilot slip, snap roll, and do an outside turn ; Wow does that tail move around.... F-22 with flaps down and slipped really wags the tail.... Must be happy airplane. I do have to mount a lensbabck there sometime
