I flew short pilots in the left seat for several years with these pedal extensions. Each new pedal face has pieces of threaded rod welded on the back and then attached to the original pedal with a saddle clamp. It worked very well and always stayed in place.

If I can still find where I have the pedal extensions maybe I can shoot a better photo; however, I posted this solution a few years ago so it may be in the archive. I found these to be safe and effective.

If someone could get the heal brakes moved, so you could use the heel brakes with your feet still on the rudder pedals, at the same time it would be nice for crosswind landings. Alot safer to operate to. Marv

          Re: Rudder pedal extension

My size 10-11 allows me to have control of both during landings. remember the pedals can move fore and aft together with length of rudder cables; there should be an adjustable link back at the rudder control arm.
come here sometime & i will show you.
