  • Sea plane prop

Currently, I have a 72-40 sensich seaplane prop on my 46 BC12D. Sensich suggested this to the former owner as he was disapointed in the 72 46 he had. Anyone ever used one of these on a BC12D? JC

Do you have an 85 or 90 HP engine?

Should be about right for the 90. You may want to pitch it back to 38 for an 85 HP.

I'd try it and see how it works.

Its a 65 hp cont. It gets off very well. Sensich recommended it to the former owner. Loses about 3-4 miles per hour cruise but so what.JC

I have a 1982 F-21 on Aqua 1500 floats with a 118 hp. It has a 72CK-0-50. This is from the STC. It is a sensenich prop.

I have the same plane - F21 with same Aqua floats. I cruise at about 84mph and usually need to lift one float getting off. How does yours perform?
