    AK gang,

My son Amos begged a ride on Grants KingAir this morning and is wandering around looking for company. Give him a call on his cell if so inclined....Nine-O-Seven 444-3537. Thanx and sure wish I were there!

    Re: Valdez Airshow

We met your son, Mike. He seems like a great kid and it turns out he now works for an shop owned by a guy who works on Jim's and my planes sometimes. David is the guy and he was there with his family also. If your son likes planes he should have had a great time. The weather was phenomenal this year and there were tons of people and planes there. The STOL competition was won again by a guide outfit owner who took of with his cub in 49 ft. and landed in 63!! He then did almost as good with a cub crafters Carbon Cub that I'm sure he's had little experience with. The flight home over Prince William sound was a bonus, with humback whales to entertain us. I hope Amos enjoys Anchorage better than he did Bethel, but why wouldn't he.

The first video installment is in the oven and about to be ready...THE most spectacular flight I've had in 25 years of flying in Alaska.

Amos was grinning ear to ear at the Valdez Air Show. He has hooked on with a true QUALITY A&P that really knows his stuff!

Be watching for the video posts...
