1), 2) and 3) Flying over the crest of the upper Knik Glacier snowfield, and then down into Price William Sound was nothing short of a spiritual experience. I defy anyone not to be deeply moved by this experience.
4) Prince William Sound... breathtakingly beautiful but inhospitable to landing a wheeled aircraft. Hundreds and hundreds of miles of beautiful coastline, but the narrow rocky beaches are not able to be landed on safely. This is a place where you are very thankful to be flying behind a "small Continental" engine!
5) The small white specks in the water are small icebergs that have calved off of the glacier just out if sight behind the hills.
