Dan Fly-In

Dan, sure wish I could be there. Had my hip replaced three weeks ago. Going pretty good, but twisted and put all my weight on it yesterday and now hurts like hell, hope I didn't screw up.

You have a good fly-in. One of these days I'll make it up there.
Still thinking of making a A-80 out of my 65. Even if it is a Rat Engine. What you think of that?

Extra Horse's

Flying with extra horse's is always fun and brings out the best in us. Sorry to hear about that hip. taking it easy is something that I think you would have a hard time doing!!! have Shirley tie you to the chair for a while! The 80 horses like all things in flying has it trade off's. Sonny told me a story about you doing some bird chasing when you started flying. good luck with you projects but do take it easy or you miss alot of flying. Dan
