Hello everyone,
Due to a growing family (expecting our 6th child in August), I am trying to liquidate a few items. I have two items for sale that I no longer need and will be sold to a Tribe member that will make a fair offer.
I will be going on vacation to Florida in a few days so please email me at [email protected] or call me at 908-872-7772 with any questions. I may not be able to answer some of them until I get home mid-April. By chance someone lives along the route from NJ to FL that wants these items, I can try to transport them on my trip if I know by Monday March 29th. I will be travelling route 78 to 83 to 15 in PA to 270 to route 95 in VA. Otherwise we can arrange shipping or pick-up, whatever your preference.
Best Regards,
Brian Bell

ITEMS FOR SALE:
1. Continental A-65 engine. This engine was purchased a few years ago to overhaul for my T-craft. Due to an unexpected issue with the engine on the plane I ended up buying an engine that was ready to go from another Tribe member to minimize downtime. I no longer need this engine as I have the other as a spare. Here is some basic info about the engine and I can look up anything else you may want to know.
Total time is 2341.51 per logbooks. The engine has a taper crankshaft. All logbooks come with the engine from its initial flight in 1946 until it was removed in March 1996. The engine is still in the boxes that it was originally shipped in to me. I did open the boxes when I received them and went though much of the contents with my AP brother-in-law and it seems like it is all there but it is possible some smaller items are missing. I can look for anything specific that you have a question about. Shipping/transport is the responsibility of the purchaser.
2. Non-sealed struts off my ’46 BC12D. These struts were removed shortly after the AD was announced and I replaced them with a new set from Airframes in Alaska. These have not been tested. The mechanic noted that were in good shape when removed.
I would be willing to sell them and if one or more do not pass testing, I will refund the cost of the failed struts. Shipping/transport is the responsibility of the purchaser. They can be sent directly to a testing facility if you would like you can have them tested before they leave my possession if you prefer.
