I flew to Diamondhead, MS for the first time since Hurricane Katrina.
I was surprised to find a TCraft on the ramp. It looks like it lives there (tied down outdoors). The FAA registry gives an address less than 10 miles away.
I walked to a nice new restaurant about 3/4 mile from the tiedown area called Pier House:
During the walk there, it was sobering to see so many concrete slabs where houses once stood (before Katrina). Slab after slab after slab.
