  • F-22 landing gear

can anyone tell me, if the F-22 landing gear is the same as the F- 19 landing gear on my F- 22 is not straight appears to be bowed out by an inch and a half or so, also not sure if they gear is original or from some other plane, or just simply a bad repair, any help would be greatly appreciated, also would be interested in buying a set of gear, if anyone has anything available, thanks

    Re: F-22 landing gear

    Shawn,

I know this is perhaps obvious so bear with me! are you sure it is nothing to do with the bungee's (shock cords )? my gear on the F22A looked a bit like that when the shock cords were at a point of parting company with each other a while back, but of course mine is Tri gear so different again. I would have thought that the F19 and F22 would be the same gear both being Taildraggers but again I understand there are some diffences between the two so it may not necessarily follow. I am sure Rob Lees would know because I believe they may have both models at Leicester UK.
