Winter flying can't be far off...! Nice open water last week...ice now...out of the water..."peeping moose" spotted under the deck! This moose calf was inside our garage, checking out the trash barrels. Dick

I got a new (to me) snowmachine (Non-Alaskans read snowmobile). It snowed about 6in here, so I got to ride it around the neighbor hood. We'll see in the morning if the snow is still there.

I got a ice report from the lodge on my lake by skwentna 3 inches.
should be good to go in two or three weeks.
I am going to sped some time out there this winter. Going to do some trapping.
Going to try to get a few wolves. Locate some wolf kills from the air...
I had a large tent camp on the kustatan river i thought i seen you fly by. Did you see it.

Lance, that was my plane that you saw, I'm pretty sure. I loaned it to a friend and my son. They spent a couple of nights at the lower strip on the Kustatan. We've got about 3 inches of ice here.
