  • Judy now a Sport Pilot

Hi tribe, I am proud to announce that Judy passed her Sport Pilot checkride Sunday, November 1, 2009!

Many thanks to Don Stafford, instructor and Cindy Riffle, examiner, as well as Forrest and many others who have offered encouragement along the way. We had a couple of setbacks along the way, but she stuck with it. All of her time has been in tailwheel airplanes. I guess now she will need to get a nosewheel endorsement?

Congratulations and a tip of the hat!
It is a rare pilot these days that earns a ticket solely on conventional landing gear.

Congratulations! Looks like you might be relegated to passenger now Dave! Maybe she and I can take tricycle gear training together. I have 15 minutes. Well Done.

            Nosewheel endorsment?
Does what mean she becomes a C 150 driver?
After flying the Taylorcraft it should be a breeze!
            Have fun, Len
