Just checked the compression on my previously low compression test cylinder and it is WAY up from before.
For a few months I have been trying to get the lead out with TCP and use of other fuel techniques that since I live in California I am unable to specify.
We had a discussion here as to whether TCP would help clean out existing lead in the cylinder as well as preventing lead build-up.
The problem with a cylinder that I previously removed and had rebuilt was a lead deposit building up until it got under the valve seat. I figured I had the same problem on this one, but I had no idea that the anti-lead treatment and other stuff would be so successful.
I have used from 25% to 100% of the "other stuff" with excellent engine operation thus far.
To say I am really pleased with the results would be the understatement of the year.
