Tubed

Doc just had to pay $50 each for 6.00 - 6 tubes for a project we are working on. OUCH.

I have an alternate plan. I'm going to fill the tires with Great Stuff expanding foam and get a STC for this modification, nomenclature: "All Terrain Run Flat Tires." Then we are going to paint the plane to look like a Hummer and sharpen the leading edges of the propeller so we can really land in the brush country.

That oughtta work.

Good Idea. Maybe we could find some golf cart tires or something similar to use. It isn't like you need a H rating to go 50 on takeoff. Chuckle.

I just checked Dresser ad in TAP "catalog," and it doesn't list tube prices--been thinking about changing to smaller tires myself. I'll try on line.
