Anyone have a source for the dust covers for the Shinn wheels?

You might try the Taylorcraft Factory. I was just there and Antonio has some inventory part available. I know a batch of wheel covers was made some time ago, but I don't know if any are left.

The website inventory needs updating, so call Antonio directly at 956-832-0445 M-F 8am to 5pm to get the answer.

Try also Skybound Manufacturing in Doraville, GA, 770-446-6797. Their price list of Shinn brake parts (from several years ago) includes:

p/n 6CA3 dust cover (backing plate) left $26.00
p/n 6CA4 dust cover (backing plate) right $26.00

          Thanks Joel,

I was referring to the 1.625" opening at the outer wheel bearing. I just put new rear dust covers on and they look great. I polished the Shinn wheels and instead of a wheel cover, I want a small "hub cap" to cover just the bearing. The Shinn wheels look fantastic when polished. But that ugly old axle and nut sticking out there sort of detract from the custom look.
