Hi everyone: New to the forum here. BC12D owner for 1 year now and love it. I would like to know is there is an STC already in place for flying the plane with the doors off. And where I would obtain it. Thank you. Paul

as far as I know the STC that exists applies only to the passenger door... but I have heard from a VERY reliable source
that flying with both doors off is a non-issue although slips are noticeably less effective.

Other than a couple of small wrenches, I wasn't aware anything was required to remove the doors...
I have read that it is a very enjoyable way to fly on a hot day. Hang on to your Ray Bans though, ie don't look back at the tail. Read about a pilot losing a pair. He was quite upset. Less about the glasses than the laughing from the other pilot on board.Comment
