  • Another work trip - Killeen, TX

If anyone's located near (or within an hour of, say) Killeen, TX, and want to play show and tell with your Taylorcraft, please give me a shout. I'll be there from the 21st to the 8th of August. Not sure how much, if any, free time I'll have, but if I have any, I'd like to spend it looking at airplanes!

    Thanks,

    Bruce

Terry - will do... as soon as I figure out if/when I'll have any free time. 24hr ops can be annoying in the 'free time' arena.

Just wanted to publicly thank Terry for a very informative, great couple of hours at his father's hangar looking at his BC-12D, along with a nice Champ and a stunning Curtis Robin monoplane. Oh, my!

        Thanks again, Terry!

1T8 in Bulverde, TX is a little more than an hour away, but there are a few aircraft you might enjoy! We are 5 miles north of the SAT VORTAC off of US Highway 281. Doc

You're welcome Bruce. If you have another couple of hours while you are here, give me a call and I will show you around here at Tick Hill Airfield... and we'll look at the '39 BC65.
