  • Long lost pilot returns

Hi folks! The last two years have been like living in a ZOO. My good friend Jim consumed a lot of my time, getting him into the V.A. health Care system, getting him qualified for a disability pension, and then getting him the care for his agent orange caused cancer.
Then I had to move all my stuff out of the hangers at T-27, and onto my place, the hangers of which were still under construction by Tee and myself.
Then I needed to get Tee's teeth taken care of, and help another good friend, and former B-52 crew member transferred to the Texas Soldier's Home.
I have been one VERY busy person. Everything has FINALLY settled down, and I found this group again on my new laptop.
Can I come back if I promise not to take off for over a year again? Brie

I'm about 14 miles SW of 2E5, Dell City Muni. And, I'm not sure, about 50 to 60 miles of KELP. There are two private strips within 2 miles of each other, MINE is the one that is about a mile SOUTH of the two lane, with the runway running East-West. The one that is 2 miles west of me with the runway running North-South, you do NOT want to land on. I'll explain over Coffee, should you ever land here. My runway is 08-26, and is 4,700 feet long, by 80 feet wide. Buzz it once so I can put the dog on her chain. Brie

Hi Larry, Before I got this new laptop, I had the old one worked on, and they wiped the entire drive without backing it up, so I lost all my addresses. I'll join the weedhopper group in a bit. Brie

Welcome back, babe, nice to hear from you again! THANKS for helping take care of others who are in need of help. !($#*% Monsanto should be forced to provide him with top shelf care for him and his family for the rest of their lives.

One of my old soaring mentors was a mechanic on the Ranch Hand airplanes, thankfully his health is OK, but he goes to bed every night thinking that he's pretty lucky.

I truly love the United States, and sometimes some nasty s**t has to be done for the greater good, but we are owed the truth about it far more than we get.

Sorry to rant, welcome back Brie, we missed ya
