  • EAA Chapter breakfast

We are having our EAA Chapter breakfast on July 12th Sunday.

http://www.eaa875.org/ We put a very good breakfast on eggs, ham and wild rice pancakes.

I will have my Taylorcraft on display. I still do not have the wings painted but the rest of it looks good. I am getting rather good at landing the little fellow yet not good enough to try my home 900' strip one way in one way out.

I have been to your pancake breakfast in past years and the wildrice pancakes are something worth flying for. I can't make it this year,(43955 is in the front yard sans wings until after Osh). See you later this summer.

Is Port Wing in Door county? I am looking at an airpark over there.

Dan, I am up on the south shore of Lake Superior. I am building a hangar at Iron River (Y77) WI. I am good friends of Joe Pauquet who use to own the Rondeveue (sp?) Bar.

Seems like everyone is a friend of the owner of the Rondeveue Bar.

That's a nice flight up there we have a condo at Cable "Telemark".

We had a good turn out at the breakfast. Joe I believe showed up but I did not see him get out of the plane or back in so I did not get to meet him. I was the one with the camera limping around. I also was working the coffee. We had some nice planes come in. a lot were tailwheel planes. I'd say it was a toss up between the Champ/Citabria and the Pipers for the most of type.

Just a few of the planes about 50 total.
