    hi all im reinstalling my sf4 my problem is i dont have the manual just what i can find on line. do you install them on #1 OR AT 28 BTDC . IHAVE FOUND THE MARK OK UPSIDE DOWN LINE WITH CASE HALF.installed them at tdc with the pointer lined up in the window of the mags if i rotate it to 28 deg prop the timing busser light gos out rotating mags dos nothing . so im thinking mybe i have to install them at 28 deg first then fine tune the buzzer box by movingthe mags: grumpy:me

    Put the mag in firing position and the #1 cylinder in firing position (28 BTDC) and install the mag on the engine. Touch up the timing with the box.

      #1 has a chipped tooth if you look into the inspection hole. Spark it out , see the tooth install and get it right on with the buzz box...... YES the marks are upside down. I then put them on top too!! chisel & white out...
