    Jason:

    Great job!

Reminds me of my adventure in 1977 going from Spanaway. WA to Oshkosh '77, then on to Maine and back. 97 hours in two weeks. Funny, my trip also included a "cross runway" landing and a wing tank that wouldn't drain until I made an off airport landing.

That's a trip you will remember for a lifetime! Welcome to our group.

    Cheers,

      Jason:

I have been following this post and replies with great interest as in about a month myself and a pilot buddy go and pick up my airplane in New Jersey and fly it back to Alaska. Any recommendations on places to see or stop?

Ask Ron Coleman if you can swing by his place in Wayne OH, That was the best part of my trip. Mostly you have to deal with weather and go where the wind isn't ! Are you planning on heading to WA and then up the inside passage? If so I can give you lots of info on how and where to cross the mountains. Check out www.airnav.com for info on airports and fuel prices across the country. Very helpfull website.

You can always stop by Ellensburg.
