NC43306 fuselage came out of paint booth today. Here for your enjoyment are a few photos. Doc and I are pleased with the results thus far.

Color coats are Polytone mixed with 2.5oz of 65-75 reducer per quart and shot at 65-70 degrees F . Masked with 3M fine line tape, NAPA masking paper and Nortons blue adhesive tape. Masking removal was 30 minutes after the final coat.

That looks great! We are doing the same scheme in yellow and black. We were debating on adding a tail stripe to the original scheme, and you have sold me on one.

        Ryan,
I can't wait to see photos of your bird. I'm going to do my F-19 in the yellow and black deluxe scheme.
We added the rudder outline for a little extra "pop". We are not going to be totally original because of the skylight, so adding a few enhancements seemed like a good idea.

Damn that's nice. looks like a million bucks. The black trim around the rudder adds the perfect dose of class to the entire look.

that's a real neck turner there.

That is almost identical to mine in Tan and brown. I have been trying to get it to the airport. We are getting more snow now so it will have to wait again.

Interesting tailwheel stand you have there. What is it?

                    Re: Eye Candy

That stand is a portable tool mounting table (grinders, sanders, etc.) that I found at Home Depot a couple of years ago in the tool section. The paint can under the tailwheel king bolt is TSOd as a temporary leveling jack. The MLG is now on and I am hoping to mount the wheels this weekend after the bungees are installed (still looking to see where we stowed that tool that Mark made). Happy New Year to All! Doc

My tailwheel stand is a bar stool.

SHHHHHH, my wife doesn't know I have it in the shop.
