I need a right landing gear for a BC12 D. Mine is in great shape with no rust , but there is a dent in the top of the front tube. The dent was caused by the step hitting the tube when the shock cord let loose 34 years ago. I can probably patch it but would preffer not to. Also does anyone know the purpose of the small screws in the top. they appear to be a spot for lubercation of the gear bolts?

Re: right landing gear.
Laz,
The screws are for lubrication.
I suggest you repair your own landing gear. There is a posting on this site about a guy in Colorado that has some for sale, but he wants $400 for them. That is waaay more than I am willing to pay. If you have the ability to weld, it would not be too difficult to replace one tube on the landing gear.Richard Pearson

Re: right landing gear.
Laz,
If you aren't set-up for repairing it you can send it to Wag Aero and they can repair it for you-talk to Tom O,Neil @ext 124. Also they are making new steps now if you happen to need them.
If anyone has a lower windshield fairing for a pattern they can send for a pattern they will start making them also.
