I just returned from 12 days in the Orient...I visited Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an and Hong Kong as a representaive of a small University located in Lacey, Washington. I was awe-sticken by the absence of general aviation in China, and saw only 2 helicopters while in Hong Kong. We are blessed by having the right to own and fly our private aircraft in this country...and need to remind ourselves that this "right" may be challenged. We need to remain vigilent and continue to support societies such as our own to speak for that right. Doc
