  • A Tragic loss

I was sad to hear we lost another pilot to a stall/spin accident. A link to his site which includes some spectacular Alaskan photos was posted on this forum a little over a year ago. His name was Shaun Lunt and he looked to be living the dream. Heres another link to his site with photos and epilogue

Wow. Didn't even know him, but sure wish I had. His family and friends are lucky to have had him. He lived fully.

A most beautiful set of pictures. A real tribute to a talented and spirited individual. Nearly all of us never knew him but likely all of us would have liked to and to have had his sense of adventure and acted on them. Thanks so much for sharing the visual biography with us.

      Peace,

        Re: A Tragic loss

I have many a day in Alaska working
        from Ketchikan, Sitka
, Kenai, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Prudoe, Kaparuk, Deadhorse and many others
and have not seen as many places with the
        peace and beauty as these.
What a wonderful life he was blessed with while here.

        These are the reasons
that we feel the need to "slip the surley bonds", in what ever we fly.
